MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) - A former fitness center supervisor who admitted stealing nearly $110,000 from her employer has been sentenced to three years in state prison.

Lyndsey Christman of Wharton must also make full restitution under the sentence imposed Tuesday. The 30-year-old had pleaded guilty last October to theft.

Morris County prosecutors say the thefts occurred between November 2008 and December 2011 while Christman was a front-desk supervisor at the Boonton business. In her position, she had access to the cash that the center took in from fees and sales.

An investigation determined there were constant discrepancies in payments to the club, except during periods when Christman was on vacation.

Christman will be eligible for admission into the state’s Intensive Supervision Program, and her attorney hopes she can be released in about six months.
