HOUSTON (AP) - An 18-year-old Houston man sought following a fatal shooting during a fight at an apartment complex has surrendered.

Houston police Monday announced Louis Anthony IV has been charged with murder in Wednesday’s death of 20-year-old Demarcus Harrison. The suspect surrendered Friday.

His father, 38-year-old Louis Anthony III, has been accused of driving through a crowd of onlookers as police investigated the shooting involving several men. Television crews videotaped the car going through the crowd. No one was injured.

The father was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was being held on $60,000 bond. His attorney, Allen Tanner, said his client didn’t intend to hurt anyone, but just panicked.

The son remained in jail on $50,000 bond. His attorney did not return a message.
