WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - West Haven police are investigating whether racist graffiti found inside a condominium complex is linked to an arson in the building’s parking garage.

WTNH-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1gwXQ6t ) the graffiti, which includes anti-Semitic and racist threats, has been appearing for the past several weeks inside an elevator at the complex on Main Street. Residents say the graffiti has been washed away several times, only to reappear.

They say the last message included a reference to a long hot summer, and appeared just days before the small fire in the parking garage.

No arrests have been made.
