My pastor preached on 1 Corinthians 13 this past Sunday, an incredibly familiar passage that describes the action-oriented nature of love — beginning with God’s love, in Christ, for his children.

I started thinking about how this text is probably one of the top 50 passages that Christians know, or even people who make no profession of Christ. 

Then I wondered, What other texts are “most popular” in terms of being searched for at online Bible study sites?

One such list of search results was found on BibleStudyTools.com, and there I found the text from Paul’s epistle to the Corinthians (#3 on the list).
