A student at Yulee High School in Florida was recently disciplined for signing off the approved morning announcement by saying “God bless America” (“Florida student sparks fireworks with ‘God bless America’ intercom sign-off,” Web, Feb. 12). Two atheists at the school were angered at that utterance. Yet no atheist seemed to be offended when a U.S. Army Muslim psychiatrist yelled “Allah Akbar” at Ft. Hood before shooting 12 people several years ago. No atheists seemed to have been offended when the president of the United States appeared on the radio show of a disc jockey called the “Pimp with the Limp” the night after Benghazi burned.

And I hear no atheist opposition to Muslim terrorists beheading people and kidnapping and killing children. Are the atheists OK with that?

As a Jewish American, I am highly offended and hope God will keep us safe.
