Hillary Clinton and House Speaker Paul Ryan keep reminding us that America was founded by immigrants, but they seem to have forgotten to mention that America was also founded on slavery. We are living in a hostile, overpopulated world, and what worked in the 1800s is not relevant in 2016. We cannot give 40 acres and a mule to settlers from other countries, and the more people we import at taxpayer expense, the more environmental damage, resource shortages and crime we will suffer.

The chaotic overpopulation of America puts downward pressure on wages and will collapse all our social safety-net programs. We need secure borders and more deportations, not more immigration. Importing Muslim refugees and refusing to secure our borders from illegal civilian invasion will not make America prosperous. Even the now famous Pakistani immigration lawyer, Khizr Khan, has published papers supporting the supremacy of Islamic law over manmade Western law, which by definition includes the United States Constitution and American criminal laws. How is sowing the seeds for domestic terrorism and eventual civil war good for our children and grandchildren?
