The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources, in a news release Wednesday, said the areas affected are conditionally approved Area II “A’’, which includes northern portions of the Pass Christian and Henderson Point reef and Hornets Reef inside the tonging line and Area II “B,” which includes Waveland and St. Stanislaus reefs inside the tonging line.

The limit is 15 sacks per day.

All other waters and reefs shall remain closed to the harvest of oysters.
