RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Police are investigating after a driver was injured in an apparent road-rage shooting in North Carolina.
Authorities tell local media a 22-year-old woman was shot at least once in the lower part of her body in Raleigh just before 8 p.m. Friday night. Police say they think the woman had accidentally cut off another driver, who then shot at her.
The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say a passenger in her car wasn’t hurt.
Police are still investigating. They have not released any information on a possible suspect.
