According to the California Policy Center, last January California’s total state- and local-government debt was over $1.5 trillion. Add to this the fact that California has one of the highest tax rates in America and its housing costs are higher than just about anywhere else, and what do you get? Mass relocation of businesses and people.

But perhaps the most visible California disaster is that of homelessness, a problem that has risen to approximately 130,000 and is still rising. In fact, homelessness improvements in the rest of the nation have been offset by California’s rise.

All of the above is a recipe for disaster, yet we have congressional Democrats who want to continue to ruin their state and America. About a mile away from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s home, there are nearly 10,000 homeless people, some defecating in the streets in the once-beautiful city of San Francisco. Los Angeles has about 60,000 homeless. In Sacramento, the state capital, there are approximately 5,570 homeless.

Yet, congressional members from California want to take over the United States and unseat a president who has the economy and the American people in one of the best states in the history of our country. Wake up, America.
