OPINION:
Our country can only make decisive progress against the jihadists that massacred Israelis if voters realize the consequences of putting President Biden in the White House (“Signs point to ground war in Gaza as scale of Hamas atrocities emerges,” web, Oct. 10).
For instance, if an American is in the emergency room at the hospital and is in dire need of surgery, they would not ask whether the surgeon was a Republican or a Democrat. But how many Americans desiring elective surgery would choose the average surgeon with an incredible personality who shared their social values over the cantankerous surgeon they knew to be the best in their field?
As a nation, we need to parry away the prejudice and vote in a president who, regardless of their personal values, is capable of prioritizing the rights and safety of all Americans. We must choose a courageous leader capable of defending our country from foreign adversaries, including the jihadists, whose aims are to destroy Israel and Western civilization as we know it.
