Despite espousing support for Ukraine at the United Nations this week, President Biden has been halfhearted in his backing of the country.

Mr. Biden has provided limited military armaments to Ukraine, and even then only after being forced to do so by Congress.

He has continually denied the nation fighter jets, thereby denying it the ability to effectively push back against Russian advances.

Unfortunately for Ukraine, Russia and China have control over the particulars of the Biden family finances in their countries and in Ukraine — and with that control, they also have the ability to drop a dime on Mr. Biden at a moment’s notice.

Our president’s reluctance to irritate Russian President Vladimir Putin is reminiscent of then-President Barack Obama’s hot-mic request to Mr. Putin for “space” during the 2012 election campaign, when he also promised to resolved “issues, but particularly missile defense.”

In March 2013, after his reelection, Mr. Obama canceled the final phase of the European Missile Defense System, which Mr. Putin opposed.

In February 2014, Mr. Putin invaded Ukraine.

The Obama-Biden policy of weakness on Russia has brought us to the verge of World War III, or total capitulation to Russia and ultimately China.
