What is the value of events like IndoPac in raising awareness for shipbuilding?
I think these events have tremendous value because they bring together some really smart people, industrial leaders, government leaders, both in Congress and in the department, to really develop and sharpen our thinking in this, right? So when we put our mind to it, this nation can do amazing things, one of which will be shipbuilding. I think that that’s a commitment that we need to make and we are making, but to what end, right? And so events like this bring all of that together, so that we not only build things, but we build the right things, and then we build them with an idea of how we can employ them to further this nation’s prosperity.
