Bannon pleads not guilty to contempt of Congress charges

Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to two counts of criminal contempt of Congress after being indicted for failing to comply with a subpoena from the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Bannon indicted on contempt charges for defying 1/6 subpoena

Former Trump adviser Steven K. Bannon was indicted Friday by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress after failing to comply with a subpoena from the House panel investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Jan. 6 Committee threatens Meadows with contempt charges

The House panel investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol warned that they are prepared to seek criminal contempt charges against former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows if he fails to appear for his deposition Friday.

Federal investigators find 13 Trump officials in violation of Hatch Act
