The numbers on YouTube are very telling. Over 4 million people have already viewed "We Believe: The Best Men Can Be" a new Gillette marketing video which takes on "toxic masculinity"and his been viewed 4 million times since it was released 24 hours ago. The video has earned 99,000 likes — and 371,000 dislikes.

Everyone calm down, the Gillette ad is just fine

A new commercial from Gillette opens with audio of chattering news reports about the #MeToo movement, bullying and "toxic masculinity." A narrator says in a sonorous (and masculine) voice: "Is this the best a man can get?" — a variation on the company's 30-year old motto.
