China establishes police station in New York City

The Chinese government has established "overseas police service stations" to keep track of its citizens abroad, including one in New York City and three in Toronto, according to a human rights watchdog group.

Las Vegas bomber on the run after prison escape last week

The Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) said that Porfirio Duarte-Herrera, 42, was missing from Tuesday morning's scheduled count at the Southern Desert Correctional Center in Indian Springs. The Reno Gazette Journal reported that Duarte-Herrera had been missing since Friday.
