Justice announces major fentanyl charges against Mexican cartel leaders

The Justice Department has charged over two dozen members of the Mexico-based Sinaloa cartel, including top leaders, for their alleged roles in the illicit fentanyl supply chain after a lengthy and sprawling investigation into a problem that is killing tens of thousands of Americans and remains a thorn in the White House's side.

Montana lawmakers pass first-in-nation ban on TikTok

The Montana Legislature has passed a bill that prohibits the download or use of TikTok within its borders as of 2024, clearing the way for Republican Gov. Greg Gianforte to sign the first-of-its-kind ban in a test case for efforts to outlaw the app across the nation.

White House designates ‘tranq’-fentanyl combo an emerging drug threat
