CHARLES CITY, Iowa (AP) - A Charles City woman has been sentenced to up to 10 years in prison for felony sexual abuse.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2eT7uUY ) that 27-year-old Brittany Rae Beek was sentenced Friday in Floyd County District Court. She must also register as a sex offender upon her release and will be under lifetime supervision.
Beek had pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of two underage girls, but was convicted in August of only one count.
Police had said Beek committed sex acts against the will of the girls on May 11 in her bedroom. Police say she bound the hands of one of the girls.
