Eric Bauza, the Emmy Award-winning modern voice of iconic “Looney Tunes” characters Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, has died at 46, his family said.
His family posted a short statement on Instagram saying he “passed away suddenly” at his home Sunday in Los Angeles County. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office said he had been diagnosed with hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
Mr. Bauza lent his talents to other famous “Looney Tunes” characters throughout his career, such as Elmer Fudd, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Road Runner and Tweety. His voice acting was used in August’s release of “Coyote vs. Acme” and 2021’s “Space Jam: A New Legacy.”
