FILE - This is an Oct. 31, 2015, file photo, shows Iowa Athletic Director Gary Barta on the field before an NCAA college football game in Iowa City, Iowa. The audit comes at a difficult time for Athletic Director Gary Barta, who faces a firestorm of criticism following last week's jury award of $1.4 million in damages for discrimination, unequal pay and retaliation to his former top aide, Jane Meyer.
