The Vermont Public Service Board is the public utilities commission of the State of Vermont, with quasi-judicial licensing and regulatory responsibilities over electric utilities (including the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Plant), natural gas companies, telecommunications companies, cable television systems and water companies. The 3-member Board consists of a Chairman and two Members nominated by the Vermont Judicial Nominating Board, appointed by the Governor of Vermont and confirmed by the Vermont Senate.
