Congressman Darrell Issa, California Republican and Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, joined fellow judiciary committee members on Thursday during a hearing to question Attorney General Eric Holder on a range of issues. Mr. Issa, grilled AG Holder over failing to comply with the subpoena his own Oversight Committee sent the Justice Department regarding the thousands of documents relating to the botched ATF gun walking operation known as Fast & Furious. In one testy exchange, Rep. issa said to Mr. Holder: “Mr. Attorney General you are not a good witness. A good witness answers the questions he’s asked,” when Holder attempted to explain why remaining Fast and Furious documents had not been sent to Congress yet.

Democrats on the committee tried to assist AG Holder, telling Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, that Mr. Issa was not allowing Mr. Holder to respond to any questions.
