The GOP has been having some fun with Democratic nominee Sen. Barack Obama pandering to both baseball teams that will play in the World Series. (McCain also took a stab at the Democrat’s praise for both teams in an interview with the Wash Times today.)

Jon Stewart chimed in last night, but also took a whack at Republican VP nominee Gov. Sarah Palin for talking up sports teams:

Our stellar sports team passed along Fox’s excellent World Series intro video that stars both McCain and Obama reading historical baseball quotes. It’s worth the click.

Speaking of sports stories, Sports Illustrated’s Rick Reilly did a fun piece on picking a Fantasy Football team with Obama.

Also on the Daily Show, Stewart also skewered Republican nominee Sen. John McCain for the whole socialism argument, pulling together some old clips with McCain saying during the 2000 primary that rich people may have to pay a bigger share.
