It’s going to be a long day in College Park.
Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen wisely moved practice back to 7 p.m. to avoid the worst of this sizzling day.

That’s good for pretty much everyone, except those who will stick around until practice is over.
No matter. Trading a few hours for to make sure every precaution is taken to steer clear of heat-related illness is a good thing.
In any case, that just means I’ll be here a little longer, posting throughout the day.
