A little more scheduling news this afternoon —- Virginia Tech has solved the second half of its scheduling hole in the wake of the cancellation of a home-and-home with Syracuse.
The Hokies will play Arkansas State in 2011, the fourth time the schools have met since the Red Wolves move up to Division I in the early 1990s.
Virginia Tech added Boise State for an Oct. 2, 2010 date at FedEx Field last week.
The Hokies’ 2011 nonconference schedule now features home dates with Arkansas State and Appalachian State and visits to East Carolina and Marshall.
