As alluded to in the last post, I’m back to work.

As in actually on the road working on a story today (with the state of the newspaper industry, count me as a little surprised at that, too).

Sadly, I’m not in Akron, Ohio, at the LeBron James Skills Camp. A certain Venezuelan with whom you might be familiar is, though, along with a fair number of fellow ACC players.

Vasquez has made the rounds of late, also hitting Paul Pierce‘s camp in the last few weeks. It shouldn’t be a surprise; after all, he’s probably going to enter the season as one of the top 10 guards in the country.

Let’s put it this way —- visiting camps hosted by NBA players is probably a better way of spending July than scrapping through the NBA summer league. Maybe.

That will have to constitute the Maryland morsel for the day —- at least until I get back to D1scourse headquarters later tonight, traffic permitting.
