Providing the Vegas line from the Wynn sports book (for informational purposes only, of course) has become a bit of a tradition throughout the NCAA tournament.

And wouldn’t you know it, as I was getting ready to pack up my laptop for the night, this weekend’s lines landed in my e-mail box.

There wasn’t much of a decision left, especially when the hint some over/unders could be arriving tomorrow was included with this delivery.

(Without having any training in setting any lines, I’m going to guess the Duke-Syracuse over/under is 23 1/2 and the Virginia-Cornell over/under is 25 1/2. But that’s purely speculative).

Anyway, here are the lines for Saturday’s games:

Duke (pick ‘em) vs. Syracuse
Cornell (+2 1/2) vs. Virginia

And here’s a chart showing the season-opening, tournament-opening and current odds to win it all for the final four:

School Start
Start/NCAA Current
Virginia 3-1 3-1 8-5
Syracuse 4-1 9-2 11-5
Duke 7-1 4-1 12-5
Cornell 10-1 5-1 4-1
