This is just downright quirky.

Dating back to the second game of 2006, Wake Forest is 20-3 whenever quarterback Riley Skinner doesn’t throw an interception.


One of the losses was last year against Maryland.

The Demon Deacons are 9-10, though, when he is picked off at least once.

And two of the victories came against Maryland.

In case anyone’s wondering, here’s Terps quarterback Chris Turner‘s breakdown in that regard over the last 27 games.

No INT: 11-3
1+ INTs: 3-10

And no, this series isn’t equally quirky on both sides. Turner didn’t throw an interception in last year’s 26-0 defeat of the Demon Deacons.
