BERKELEY, Calif. —- There’s finally an answer to the Great Kicker Search of Aught Nine.
Freshman Nick Ferrara will handle those duties for the Terps to open the season. He apparently edged out Mike Barbour for the gig.

But it’s close. And it wouldn’t be any shock of Barbour gets a shot at some point.
Maybe even tonight.
Also, wideout Tony Logan (shoulder) didn’t even make the trip. So that means the Terps traveled “only” eight receivers for this game.
