Well, got back home to D1scourse headquarters yesterday evening, and am just now feeling like I’m really back on the East Coast.

All I can say is it’s a good thing that cross-country trip started the season. It would have been rough to do that once the routine of the year was underway.

It was also probably good for Maryland, which got its annual prime-time bludgeoning out of the way quickly. Not to say there won’t be another, but the Terps didn’t exactly look like a candidate for a visit from Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit anytime soon.

In any case, the blog will be a little more active today before picking up tomorrow as Ralph Friedgen tries to keep the Terps dialed into the 11 remaining games rather than the one disaster they’ve already encountered.
