Meant to get to this more extensivelyon Saturday night, but the lousy internet situation in Berkeley created a lot of headaches and some blogging sacrifices.

So the rundown of former Maryland players in the pros waited until now. Which is actually sort of good, since the practice squads are being finalized now.


Four of last year’s Terps —- Kevin Barnes, Moise Fokou, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Edwin Williams —- made 53-man rosters, while Dan Gronkowski, Jeremy Navarre and Jaimie Thomas were assigned to practice squads.

There were 38 former Terps in camp as of a week ago. And here’s, from what I can tell, how everything shook out:
