Looks like Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen is going to play it close to the vest with his injuries this week.

He said he’d wait until Thursday to provide an update on both Bruce Campbell (turf toe) and safety Jamari McCollough (ankle). That could mean their status is either really dicey or completely up in the air.

Chances are, at least one of them could play Saturday. After all, Friedgen had no problems acknowledging the likes of Joe Vellano and Caleb Porzel won’t play, or that Tony Logan is expected to be a go.

In any case, no word on the two obvious injuries from Saturday’s loss. It’ll probably be another 48 hours at the earliest before there is.
