After scoring 51 points in the Mystics’ two games last week, Alana Beard was named the Eastern Conference player of the week. It is the fourth time in her career Beard has received the honor.

Seattle’s Lauren Jackson, who also dropped 51 in two games last week, got the Western Conference nod.
