The six-month election recount that turned former “Saturday Night Live” comedian Al Franken into a U.S. senator may have been decided by convicted felons who voted illegally in Minnesota’s Twin Cities. 


“Now is not the time to rest on our laurels,” she told delegates from the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. Recognizable attendees included Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, Sen. Claire McCaskill and actors Blair Underwood and Louis Gossett Jr..

What replaced the bank tax? Deficit spending, and another bank tax. It’s sad to see Brown cave on this. That said, it’s easy to understand why he’s doing it. Think of it this way: With or without this bill, we will inevitably experience another financial crisis.
