In the early morning hours on Tuesday, the Boston police department moved in on Occupy demonstrator camps. According to a live video feed, 200 Boston police officers in full assault gear cleared the protest camps after protesters left their base camp unattended to occupy the Rose Kennedy Greenway, which was considered off-limits to the demonstrators. Police arrested about 100 protesters during the early hour sweep.
