Congressman Dennis Cardoza, California Democrat, announced Thursday morning he will not be seeking re-election. In his statement,  Mr. Cardoza, who first went to Capitol Hill in 2003, blasted President Obama for failing to properly handle the country’s housing and foreclosure crisis:

“Looking back on disappointments, I am dismayed by the Administration’s failure to understand and effectively address the current housing foreclosure crisis.  Home foreclosures are destroying communities and crushing our economy, and the Administration’s inaction is infuriating.”
