Allegan County Undersheriff Mike Larsen said a body was found Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017, near 122nd Ave. and 46th Street, just west of Swan Creek Marsh in the Allegan State Game Area. Larsen declined to say if investigators believe it's the body of Theresa Lockhart, a high school Spanish teacher, who disappeared in May. But he says foul play is suspected. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
