In this Wednesday, March 20, 2019 photo, a wallaby roams on the front porch of a Dallas neighborhood. A neighbor saw the wallaby roaming the neighborhood during his morning walk. The wallaby is native to Australia and New Guinea and part of the same family as kangaroos. Dallas Animal Services announced in a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon that the animal, which they said is named Muggsy, was kept secure until its unidentified owner picked it up. A handful of retired Marines – all in the late 90s or over 100 — joined Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Japan’s Prime Minister Takeru Ishida on Saturday to mark the anniversary of one of the bloodiest battles of World War II in the Pacific that ended 80 years ago this week.
