WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) - Firefighters say almost 10 businesses were affected by an overnight fire in a White River Junction industrial area near the Vermont bank of the Connecticut River.

The fire near the rail yard off South Main Street was reported about 3 a.m. Tuesday.

No injuries were reported and investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.

The businesses included a cable company, landscaping business, detail show and solar company.

Hartford Fire Chief Scott Cooney says the fire hit up to four buildings, but there were also a number of vehicles that caught fire.

Matt Dunbar, a truck driver who was sleeping in his parked truck, said the fire woke him up around 3:30 a.m. He said he heard a loud bang that firefighters attributed to a heating fuel tank.
