OPINION:
Sen. Tim Scott headlined night one of the Republican National Convention and the left called him “Uncle Tom” so much in response it trended on Twitter. They didn’t have anything critical to say about his speech, just racial slurs — many of which were much worse and need not be repeated here.
Their response shocked no one. Americans have become accustomed to this type of response over the past four years — and even longer.
When they’re not hurling racist comments at Black Republican officials, White liberals are assuming they’re smarter and more well-equipped than people of color to handle the world.
Take their argument for voter-ID laws for instance. White liberals inform us all that people of color, especially those who live in urban areas, are somehow too poor or too stupid to obtain an ID in order to vote. We all know that in order to function in America, we have to have an ID. Whether it be obtaining services from the government, buying alcohol or cigarettes, picking up your prescription, going to a doctor, etc., you have to have an ID — but to White liberals, minorities can’t crack the code to get one.
Then there are the Black Lives Matter riots. White liberals seem to really enjoy going into poor urban communities in inner cities and destroying them. They set minority-owned businesses on fire and destroy homes all while screaming about some type of systemic racism that they claim exists. When these rioters are arrested, it nearly always comes out that some are White lawyers and teachers; people who would never think to live or invest in the parts of town they destroy. They’re outside White people traveling to Black neighborhoods to create chaos and ruin the lives of the residents there.
As if the destruction of minorities’ property that White liberals cause isn’t enough, they then lobby and influence the White liberals in city leadership to defund the police to the same areas. White liberals claim that by defunding the police, they will somehow save the inner city communities that they themselves literally just destroyed. If the city they are in refuses to take the police out of the communities, the White liberals will return to the communities and continue to create chaos in them.
Even before the direct destruction of property in major cities, look at the treatment of minority communities. Democrats have run most major cities for 30, 40 and even longer than half of a century, and in every one of those cities, minority communities are suffering. They have the worst schools, they have crime- and drug-infested neighborhoods, and many are struggling to find jobs that simply don’t exist there. How has no one concluded yet that White liberals literally put the “system” in systemic racism?
And let’s not forget that the White liberals that run those cities and claim to care wouldn’t dare live or even visit these “bad parts of town” — but they’ll sit at their high-end bars with their celebrity counterparts and ponder what charities they can throw money at or hashtags they can tweet to make themselves feel better about the mess they’re responsible for creating. When they get really proactive, they might even throw on a random kente cloth and take a knee for a professional photo op … again from a safe place outside of those “bad parts of town.”
The worst of all the racist White liberals at the moment is of course Joe Biden. His own racist comments (and there are a lot of them) and his 1994 crime bill aside, Mr. Biden announced early on that he would pick a woman of color to run with him as vice president.
Think about that for a second. He didn’t care about qualifications, resume or policy history — he just knew he needed any woman of color to run with him. Why? Because he didn’t view the position as anything more than a spot to pander to minority communities. He and his campaign clearly think that minority communities are so simple-minded and sheep-like that all he needs to do to get their vote is show up with a “Black friend.”
I’m not saying anything that the left hasn’t already started to wake up to. CNN’s Van Jones may have said it best, “It’s not the racist White person who is in the Ku Klux Klan that we have to worry about. It’s the White, liberal Hillary Clinton supporter walking her dog in Central Park who would tell you right now, ‘Oh I don’t see race, race is no big deal to me, I see all people the same, I give to charities,’ but the minute she sees a Black man who she does not respect, or who she has a slight thought against, she weaponized race like she had been trained by the Aryan Nation.”
White liberals are racist.
