OPINION:
The slap-on-the-wrist plea deal inappropriately given to Hunter Biden by U.S. Attorney David Weiss only raises more questions about Biden family corruption. What appears increasingly clear, however, is that the family is thoroughly compromised by foreign governments.
Recent whistleblower testimony revealed a profoundly incriminating message that has ignited a firestorm over President Biden’s previous intimate involvement in his son Hunter’s international business dealings.
In a July 2017 WhatsApp exchange with Henry Zhao, his CEFC Energy business partner, Hunter coerced Mr. Zhao to send him $100,000 that day or face a “grudge” forever with the man sitting next to him and “every person he knows” — a reference to his father, then the former vice president.
The revelation of this undiscovered exchange, apparently with his father’s knowledge, clearly illustrates Hunter’s willingness to use his dad’s political power to exert coercion and blackmail.
This astonishing discovery, coupled with foreign payments to the Biden family uncovered by the House Oversight Committee, casts an even darker shadow on deepening Biden family foreign business dealings and raises serious national security concerns. Yet the White House remains silent.
This explosive whistleblower testimony also reveals firsthand knowledge from Hunter’s business associate Rob Walker of Joe Biden’s orchestrated appearance at a Chinese executive CEFC business deal proposal in May 2017 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington.
According to Mr. Walker, the former vice president briefly appeared at a lunch that Hunter had arranged with CEFC executives, presenting an opportune moment for Hunter to express his keen interest in a CEFC business venture.
His father had suggested that he would be “available if needed” before leaving the meeting, according to Mr. Walker.
Mr. Walker further affirmed that Hunter Biden had arranged similar encounters while his father was vice president.
This meeting sheds crucial light on a 2017 email, wherein a reference is made to this CEFC deal proposal and of “10 percent held by H for the big guy.”
Hunter’s former business associates Tony Bobulinski and James Gilliar, pivotal figures in orchestrating the proposal, have unequivocally identified the “big guy” as Joe Biden.
Furthermore, in March 2019, a meeting unfolded at the U.S. Embassy in Brussels when four FBI agents and two prosecutors met with Gal Luft, whose Washington think tank had a relationship with CEFC.
Mr. Luft allegedly provided agents with information that CEFC was paying $100,000 to Hunter and $65,000 to his uncle Jim each month for being able to capitalize on their connections at the FBI and to exploit the Biden name to propel China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
Ironically, the two prosecutors at this meeting were from the Southern District of New York and had previously indicted and convicted Patrick Ho, a former business partner of Hunter’s.
Audio leaked from the infamous Hunter laptop reveals his business relationship with Ho, to whom he refers as the “f——-g spy chief of China.”
In an apparent effort to conceal the Biden family’s illicit behavior and foreign business dealings on Hunter’s abandoned laptop weeks before the 2020 presidential election, Michael Morell, the former deputy director of the CIA, hastily submitted a statement to the CIA’s Prepublication Classification Review Board to obtain clearance for public release.
This letter, endorsed by 51 esteemed senior intelligence officials, asserted that the contents found on Hunter’s laptop bore all the hallmarks of a Russian influence operation without evidence to back up this claim.
Later revealed in testimony from Mr. Morell before Congress was the involvement of Antony Blinken, the current secretary of state, in the letter’s conception when he was Mr. Biden’s campaign manager.
Mr. Morell acknowledged that his objectives in releasing the letter were to aid Mr. Biden in the debate against former President Donald Trump and bolster his chances of winning the election.
These alarming revelations cast a disconcerting pallor over Mr. Biden’s election and invite further scrutiny of the extension of corruption in his administration.
Finally, after persistent pressure and threats to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, an unclassified FD-1023 (a form FBI agents use to record raw, unverified reporting from confidential human sources) that has been in the bureau’s possession since 2020 was reluctantly revealed to members of Congress in a heavily redacted version.
The document allegedly asserts that a foreign national has two audio recordings containing conversations with Mr. Biden that suggest his potential involvement in efforts by foreign governments to influence U.S. policy when he was vice president in exchange for $5 million.
Reportedly, these recordings were kept as a potential insurance policy by this highly credible foreign source. These allegations raise a serious counterintelligence concern.
A key modus operandi of the Chinese and other intelligence services is to look for every possible angle to get close to and blackmail high-ranking U.S. officials.
They prey upon the vulnerable who have foreign government business connections, are sexually deviant, are addicted to drugs, and indulge in illegal financial practices.
It’s time for an independent special counsel investigation instead of one led by a politically motivated Justice Department.
