From ballrooms to the Midway: Mike Davis takes his party to the Iowa State Fair

Mike Davis’ Article III Project and Article III Foundation are famous in conservative circles for their packed parties in Washington.

Now the conservative political strategist is taking his show on the road, heading to the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines later this month for a private bash.

Mr. Davis, who is from Iowa, planned the Aug. 20 event to celebrate the confirmation of Todd Blanche as attorney general and to fete Sen. Charles E. Grassley, who has represented Iowa for 45 years.

Mr. Davis worked for Mr. Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee, helping confirm President Trump’s judicial nominees such as Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh.

He also clerked for Justice Neil M. Gorsuch.
