Frandsen returns to Nationals to be TV color commentator

MASN and the Nationals hired Kevin Frandsen to move down I-95 from Philadelphia and become the newest color commentator on television broadcasts. He joins play-by-play announcer Bob Carpenter in the booth, replacing analyst F.P. Santangelo . Published January 20, 2022

Maryland to face Virginia Tech in Pinstripe Bowl

The Terrapins will take a swing at an old ACC rival later this month in the Pinstripe Bowl. Maryland will face Virginia Tech on Dec. 29 at Yankee Stadium in New York. Kickoff is set for 2:15 p.m. on ESPN. The game will be the 32nd all-time meeting between the Terrapins and Hokies, who were both members of the ACC from 2004 to 2013. Published December 5, 2021

Washington Nationals set minor league affiliate lineup

The Nationals' new Triple-A affiliate will be the Rochester Red Wings. The Nationals' Double-A affiliate will remain the Harrisburg Senators. The Wilmington (Delaware) Blue Rocks will be the new high Single-A affiliate, while the Fredericksburg (Virginia) Nationals will be the low Single-A squad. Published December 9, 2020
