Friction emerges between Jordan, Scalise amid fight for speaker’s gavel

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise voted for Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan for speaker on the chamber floor Tuesday but Mr. Scalise is not fully helping Mr. Jordan win over enough lawmakers to win the gavel, a source familiar with the circumstances told The Washington Times.

House probe closes in on Biden trove of classified documents

House investigators Monday sought access to the trove of classified documents improperly taken and stored by President Biden, to determine if the sensitive material was used in connection with the Biden family's lucrative foreign business deals.
