President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama on Tuesday attended parent-teacher conferences at the prestigious Sidwell Friends School.

The couple’s two daughters, Sasha and Malia, attend the selective, private institution in Northwest Washington, which also counts among its alumni Chelsea Clinton and others.

The president left the White House just after 10 a.m. on Tuesday and arrived at the school at about 10:20, according to a pool reporter traveling with the first family.

Sidwell Friends, founded in 1883, has a student population of 1,132 in the current academic year, according to its website. It also operates a campus in Bethesda.
