PLAYER TO WATCH: Richards. The playmaking center was the big free agent prize, and the missing piece for New York’s offense and power play. If he can carry the burden of being in the Broadway spotlight and live up to the nine-year, $60 million deal he signed by bringing out the best of new linemate Marian Gaborik, he will be an instant Madison Square Garden favorite.
