Bruce Boudreau just confirmed that Michal Neuvirth will indeed make his NHL debut tonight against Tampa Bay. Neuvirth will become the eighth player to make his debut with the Caps this season.
The coach also said defensemen Karl Alzner, Milan Jurcina and forward Jay Beagle will be the team’s healthy scratches against the Lightning. The lineup will be what it was yesterday in practice:
