A combination of technical problems and Corey being in the air on the way to Las Vegas means this news is getting on the blog later than it should, but here it is anyway …
“Fan Favorite” Quintin Laing, as Corey would call him, has re-signed with the Caps for another year. The 30-year-old left wing played just one game for Washington last season before missing two months with a torn spleen; after his recovery, he finished the season with the Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears.
