Here’s a couple of snipets from what Bruce Boudreau and Bob Woods had to say during the teleconference today before I go write a story:

Boudreau: “He’s been in our organization now for four years, so he knows everybody here whether it is Alex Ovechkin or Mike Green. I think that is a real big step up, and I think it is important that we reward people for doing well. In our organization, I was able to be rewarded and now Bob does.”

Woods: “For sure it was difficult [to leave Hershey] – Bruce can attest to it too. It is a great place to be if you’re at this level, from the community to the fans to the media, everything. It is a special place and a tough one to leave, but we’re in this business to get the NHL. It took me almost 20 years to get there, but I am just excited to finally make it and excited to be back with Bruce.”
