Quintin Laing has officially cleared waivers (had another team grabbed him, their AHL club wouldn’t have been able to use him in the playoffs anyway) and should be in the lineup for his first NHL game this season tonight against the Lightning.

This will be Laing’s first game of any kind in about a month, as he is just finishing up recovering from an MCL injury he suffered in a game for Hershey in mid-February.
