Mike Huckabee won a proxy battle with Sarah Palin in Florida on Tuesday

Mrs. Palin backed Florida Rep. Sandy Adams, who lost to fellow Republican Rep. John Mica after both were drawn into the same district after the 2010 Census.

Mr. Huckabee had endorsed Mr. Mica, chairman of the House transportation committee, who pulled in 61 percent of the vote to swamp his freshman rival in the 5th Congressional District race.
